In light of our extended time away from the classroom, the following items are where your focus needs to be.
At this point, you should have completed reading the novel The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks
Over the next two weeks complete the the chapters 31-38 handout I handed out to you on the 16th and send your answers in an email via a picture or in written form
View the following videos about Rebecca Skloot and the ethical issues in The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks and Rebecca Skloot's experience when she visits Lack's Town. Then in your journals, explain how each video supported your understanding of the ethical theme in the novel as well as how Rebecca's experience influenced and/or enhanced your understanding of the Lacks family history.
