Principals Message

Welcome to Marissa Jr/Sr High School!  My name is Melissa (Missy) Meyer, and I am Principal of Marissa Jr/Sr High School.  Throughout my over 25 years in education, I have been involved in many different types of schools, including a parochial school, an alternative program, and public schools, teaching in the areas of Health and Special Education and being an administrator.  I feel very fortunate to be with the staff here.  MJSHS is a great combination of a small town school while offering students a well-rounded education with many extracurricular options.

The faculty and staff believe in the district's mission to foster and develop a desire for students to learn by providing the skills necessary to be confident and successful.  To accomplish this, all stakeholders must be involved.  The school has a strong sense of community and understands the importance of getting the parents involved.  We offer many opportunities for parents to be involved in their children’s education.
